We’ll be working with an all natural, vegan friendly, cotton-linen blend yarn that will be soft to the touch but sturdy enough to take you through all seasons!

By the end of this workshop, participants will not only take home their own beautifully handcrafted crochet bucket hat but also gain the skills and confidence to embark on more intricate crochet projects. About our instructor: 

Geo Kester (they/them) is a Brooklyn-based fiber artist who specializes in bright colors and unique fibers. They make everything from sweaters to purses to croc jibbitz, and have fun with it all. When not knitting or crocheting, they are probably hiding their massive yarn supply from their three cats. 

Duration: We’ll host two consecutive Sundays on 11/5 from 1pm-4pm & 11/12 from 1pm-3pm

Attendance is required for all of the classes to finish the project. We will not be holding any make-up time for missed classes.

• Please arrive 5 minutes early to class. Students later than 15 minutes will forfeit their spot in the class. 

• Switching yarn rules: 

• We find that our students have the easiest experience using the yarns we've chosen for the project. The yarn is complimentary with the purchase of the class!

• Selecting yarn and hook sizes

• Foundational Crochet Stitches 

• Creating a brim

Please note: Our intention is for you to leave with a fully finished piece after completing the class. Our classes are paced with that in mind! Depending on your particular speed and skills, this cannot be guaranteed and our instructor may advise you to do work at home or advise you to arrange a time with UR Fancy Shop to complete in our studio so that you can finish your project.
