The granny square is the perfect first crochet project for beginners! A “granny square” or as we like to call them Magic Squares are a foundational crochet project! Once you’ve made a handful of them, you can seam them together to make larger items such as blankets, scarves, sweaters, hats, balaclavas, tops, pillows, wall art, sweaters, bags, and much more!! They allow you to play with color combinations without investing a lot of time (and yarn!) into a project and you can make them any size you wish! They are a truly dynamic and fun crochet project to start with or expand on your needle craft skills. 

This class comes with 2 skeins of 100% Premium Wool, Climate Beneficial Verified by Fibershed and a crochet hook to take home.

• When to show up?

• Please arrive 5 minutes early to class. 

• Switching yarn rules: 

• We find that our students have the easiest experience using the yarns we've chosen for the project. Two balls of yarn are complimentary with the purchase of the class.

• Chain Stitch

• Crochet Stitches

• Seaming
